On May 21, 2007 some touring World War II-era airplanes came to visit nearby Moffett Field to be on display. I went with my brother Matt to check them out.

On May 4 - 6, 2007, I went with my church's college group to go camping in Yosemite. The nights were pretty cold, but the day we spent in the valley on Saturday was nice. On Friday, we set up our camp and drove to see Bridalveil Falls. We got snowed on when we were driving back to the camp site. On Saturday, we spent most of the day hiking to the top of Yosemite Falls. The 7-mile round-trip hike took us about 8 hours (sightseeing at the top included). After that, we saw the Indian Cave rocks and Mirror Lake, which are near each other.

On April 18-19, 2007, I went on a little trip with my brother to San Luis Obispo to do some hiking and exploring. On the 18th, we hiked to the top of Bishop's Peak, a popular hike I did a few times when I went to Cal Poly. On the 19th, we went out to California Valley in the Carrizo Plain east of San Luis Obispo. It is a remote, middle-of-nowhere valley formed not because of rivers but because of the San Andreas Fault, which runs laterally along the valley.

On April 12, 2007, my brother got in an accident driving my parents' (previously my grandma's) blue Saturn. He walked away with only some glass cuts and some aches, but the Saturn is no more. He got T-boned, so the driver's side of the car got crushed.

I spent the evening of March 23 through March 25, 2007 in a cabin in Dorrington, CA in the Sierras. I went with a group from my church and we went on a hike at Calaveras Big Trees State Park, and continued up to Bear Valley for some snow tubing. The trip was a lot of fun, even if there wasn't as much snow as usual.
